So it’s not like people consume the trees in a rain forest rather than lettuce grown on farms when they’re eating a salad. And last but definitely not least, carnivores eat plants too. This is dumb. In addition, the quantity of vegetables required to “produce” a given amount of beef is enormously disproportionate.  In other words, by eating beef, you’re consuming way more vegetable material than if you were to simply not eat beef.  So yea, vegetarianism is environmentally friendlier.  No question.
